Man pleads in robbery

A Susquehanna man pleaded guilty in court Friday to the February robbery of a local pharmacy.

Edmund Carroll, 30, admitted to displaying a four-inch blade to the pharmacist working at Reddon’s Pharmacy in Susquehanna on Feb. 21 and demanding specific narcotics in a note he handed to the pharmacy technician.

Carroll fled the store after the pharmacist doused him with pepper spray. He was later apprehended by police in the Lanesboro area.

He is scheduled to be sentenced on June 21 by President Judge Kenneth Seamans.
