Little League all-stars forge ahead
Little League teams fromBlue Ridge, Susquehanna County Little League, Susco East and Montrose all entered contention in District 15.
The Montrose 11-12 boys all-stars took a 5-4 loss fromBlue Ridgeat home on Tuesday and traveled to Tunkhannock on Wednesday where the team took a 13-2 loss for a 1-2 finish in pool play. The team then faced a 6-0 loss toAthenson Friday and moved on to take a loss to RTL, 9-1, on the road on Sunday.
The Blue Ridge 9-10 boys all-stars faced a 2-1 loss from RTL on the road Wednesday to finish pool play with a 1-2 record.Blue Ridgemoved on to face Towanda at home on Saturday in the Joe Shaw Memorial Tournament taking a 12-9 loss to move on to play Susco East on Monday.

loss, 10-6 to Tunkhannock a day before to finish pool play with a 1-2 record. Susco East moved on to play NEBALL on Friday in the Daniel J. Aquilio Memorial Tournament where the team was handed an 8-0 loss. They will faceSusquehannaCountyon the road on Tuesday at6 p.m.
SusquehannaCounty’s girls were handed a 20-0 loss from Tunkhannock on the road on Wednesday, and went on to faceAthenson Sunday where the team was handed a 20-14 loss. They will now play atSouthern Tiogain the Strumski 9-10 consolation bracket on Thursday at6 p.m.
TheSusquehannaCounty11-12 girls defeatedAthens, 10-6, on Thursday evening on the road to advance to the District 15 Championship game against NEBall on Saturday where the girls took a 7-5 loss to NEBALL to finish second in the district.
