EL hockey takes OT loss
The Elk Lake field hockey team faced an overtime loss to Tunkhannock Area, 2-1, at home on Friday.
Tiger Cheyanne Hunsinger scored an unassisted overtime goal at 12:19 to propel Tunkhannock to the victory.
Hunsinger also scored a goal for Tunkhannock in the second half off an assist for Kailey Reposa.
Elk Lake’s only goal came off the stick of C.J. Bevan with an assist from Steven Paskailitis at 21:40 in the first half.
Elk Lake had five shots on goal and three corners while goalie Luke Myers had nine saves.
Tunkhannock had 10 shots on goal and 12 corners while goalie Mary Sickler had four saves.
