Area runners complete Steamtown

A number of area runners competed in the 17th Annual Steamtown Marathon that began at Forest City Regional High School and ended up in Scranton on Sunday.

Top male finisher at 2:29.06 was Matt Bryne, and top female finisher was Heidi Peoples at 2:50.01, each claiming their third Steamtown title.
