Suspect Spiderman unmasked

Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of the suspect who wore a Spiderman mask during the Oct. 5 armed robbery of a Lenox Twp. convenience store.

Louis Sherman, 20, is wanted for robbery. He is considered armed and dangerous. Sherman’s last known address was 801 Elkview Dr., Clifford. He is described as 6-foot tall, about 160-170 lbs., with short brown hair and brown eyes.

Police say he is possibly driving a two-door, white Chrysler Sebring.

Investigators believe Sherman wore a Spiderman mask to conceal his face when he entered the Pump N Pantry, located off Rt. 92, Lenox Twp., at 1:30 a.m., displayed a pistol and demanded money from the clerk.

The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money from the store.

Tpr. Mark Mulvey is investigating.

Robbery, theft and receiving stolen property charges against Sherman have been filed in Clifford District Court.
