For the second annual “Bowl With Your Favorite Teacher” at Riverside Lanes, Susquehanna, some 60 Susquehanna Community elementary students signed up to spend time bowling with their favorite teacher.
Held on Saturday, March 16, there were 16 teachers representing the Susquehanna Community Education Association, sponsors of the fun day.
Proceeds from the event will be going toward SCEA scholarship presented to a senior planning to continue their education following graduation.
According to SCEA President Kathleen Hinkley, the association is working to increase the scholarship amount given each year. There are other fundraisers planned for later this Spring and will be announced as the plans are finalized
