Aubrey, Wright re-elected to PNB board

Peoples Neighborhood Bank held its annual meeting on Saturday, April, 27, at the Riverwalk Hotel in Binghamton, N.Y.

President of the board, William Aubrey II, opened the meeting by introducing directors, associate directors and directors emeriti and employees who attended.

PNB has office locations in Susquehanna, Wyoming and Lackawanna Counties in Pennsylvania and Broome County, N.Y.

Executive Vice President Debra Dissinger served as meeting secretary.

Bank shareholders voted three year additional bank board terms to Aubrey and Joseph T. Wright Jr.
During President and Chief Executive Officer Alan Dakey’s yearly report he spoke of the bank’s growing presence in the Binghamton area. Dakey reviewed 2012, which he referred to as a challenge due to the economy, and spoke of the renovations to bank locations following the flood of 2011. “Mortgage re-financing was a record during the past year,” he said.

Dakey noted that 2013 will remain strong with steady growth. “We are very strong in the present environment with shares closing on Friday at $34.00,” he added.

The CEO proudly brought to everyone’s attention that in 2012 Peoples Neighborhood Bank was named, “One of the Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania.”

The bank was recognized for how they conduct business and how they take care of customers.
