The Montrose Area boys’ tennis team faced a 4-1 loss to North Pocono at home on Wednesday after it grabbed a 4-1 win over Riverside at home on Tuesday afternoon.

Against North Pocono, Bryan Schultz won the No. 1 singles match in the loss.

On Tuesday, Sean Regan and Kyle Watts won their singles matches in straight sets to lead Montrose.

North Pocono, 4, Montrose 1

Singles: Bryan Schultz (MON) over Tom Meehan, 6-7 (10-8), 6-2, 5-0; Steven Sposito (NP) over Justin Parrish, 6-4, 6-1; Zac Lehman (NP) over Austin Smith, 6-2, 6-1.

Doubles: Kevin Nardella-Mark Burnett (NP) over Hunter Williams-Kyle Watts, 6-1, 6-3; Levi Burner-J.J. Parola (NP) over Thomas Van Nostrand-Andrew Bickford, 6-2, 6-4.

Montrose 4,
Riverside 1

Singles: Sean Regan (MON) over Mat Lucas, 6-2, 7-5; Andrew Sheridan (RIV) over Justin Parrish, 6-1, 6-1; Kyle Watts (MON) over Charlie Koytek, 6-4, 6-3.

Doubles: Hunter Williams-Zach Myer (MON) over Vinnie Donaghey-Doug Williams, 6-0, 6-1; Montrose by forfeit.
