NEP adds four new cell sites


NEP Cellcorp is expanding its cell service with the addition of four new cell towers blanketing the southwestern portion of the county.

The Susquehanna County Planning Commission gave final approval, at its Tuesday, July 30 meeting, for the development of the cell tower sites by the Forest City based communications company.

Towers will be located in Middletown Twp. (Fiondi property); Rush Twp. (Knipe property); Auburn Twp. (Mokris property); and Jessup Twp. (Rag Apple LLC property).

The Planning Commission also gave final approval to two WPX Compressor Stations – one in Middletown Twp. (Fiondi property); and one in Forest Lake Twp. (Powers property).

Williams Field Services was also granted conditional preliminary approval for a compressor station on the Miller property in Harford Twp.
