An afternoon of delights

An ‘Afternoon of Delights’ was presented Sunday, Aug. 11 in the sanctuary of the Old Mill Village Church in Midtown Park, New Milford. The event featured performances in song, comedy and drama.

Ventriloquist Courtland Birchard performed with Joey Joker; songwriter/singer Dave Ingerson performed with his guitar; Endless Mountains Theatre Company presented its original work, “Lavender Notes,” which debuted earlier this year; and gospel singers Saburah Sims and Brenda Cave-James performed; as did D.J. Wooden.

The program culminated with the audience joining in on “Amazing Grace” led by members of the Wooden family, Sims, Cave-James and Bucky Geeter on piano.
