Raiders pick up win over Susquehanna
Blue Ridge’s Austin French had an ace, four kills and 20 assists and Mark Oakley had nine kills to lead the Raiders Volleyball to a 3-1 win on Susquehanna’s home court on Tuesday, March 25.
Brad Palmatier had 13 kills and a block for the Raiders.
Steve Frye had six kills, eight blocks and two aces for Susquehanna, Nick Lloyd had four kills, six blocks and two aces and Brandon Rafferty had 13 assists.
Mountain View also picked up a 3-0 win over Lackawanna Trail on Tueday; while Forest City fell to Abington Heights, 3-1.

At Mountain View, Austin Mack had 15 assists, four kills and a block and Chad Schmidt had nine kills and four aces to lead the Eagles.
Bryan Owens had six aces for the winners.

Sean Salmon had 21 assists and a kill and Griffin Joyce had eight kills, four blocks and three digs to lead Abington Heights to a 3-1 win over Forest City in a Lackawanna League boys volleyball match Tuesday.
Wade Loomis led Forest City with 18 kills, a dig, an ace and four blocks, Logan McHale had three kills, 12 assists, two aces and four blocks and Noah Fedak had four kills, 11 assists, a dig and a block.
In Thursday, March 27 volleyball action, Forest City picked up a win over Elk Lake and Mountain View, Susquehanna and Blue Ridge fell to opponents on the court.

At Elk Lake, Ryan Long had 10 points and Wade Loomis had five points to lead Forest City.
Logan McHale had nine points and five aces for the Foresters.

Western Wayne rallied from a 2-0 deficit to post a 3-2 win over Mountain View in a Lackawanna League boys volleyball match.
Austin Mack had 32 assists for Mountain View, Chad Schmidt had 15 kills and six digs and Brandon Zentmeyer had eight digs.
