Dumped body ruled homicide


The body of a man found dead and wrapped in a tarp has been ruled a homicide by Susquehanna County Coroner Anthony Conarton.

The victim was identified following an autopsy Tuesday, July 1, to be Jack St. Onge, age 88, of Plymouth Twp., Montgomery County.

Onge’s Arch Road, Plymouth Township residence has been identified as the homicide scene, according to a release from Montgomery County District Atttorney Risa Vetri Ferman. Investigators are currently processing the scene.

Onge’s body was discovered by workers clearing brush on Friday, June 27 on SR 2036, near SR 92 in Gibson Twp.

A joint investigation into the homicide and abuse of a corpse has been launched by the Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman, Susquehanna County District Attorney Jason Legg, Pennsylvania State Police Troop K Skippack – Lt. James Fisher and Troop R Dunmore – Lt. Charles Sands, and Plymouth Township Police Chief Joseph Lawrence.

UPDATE: 2:01 p.m., Wednesday, July 2: Susquehanna County Jason Legg indicated he will conceded jurisdiction on the abuse of a corpse charge to Montgomery County.
