The Susquehanna County Career and Technology Center graduated its first Licensed Practical Nursing class last Thursday evening, July 3, at the Elk Lake High School auditorium.
Although there was an electric storm outside, things were calm but excited indoors at the Elk Lake High School auditorium as SCCTC director Alice Davis welcomed guests and soon-to-be grads.
She noted that their diploma in practical nursing placed the 29 students in a unique and special segment of society.
School board member Anne Teel provided some introductory remarks and LPN soon-to-be graduates Cassandra Sekely, Tori Carpenter and Teara Sutton provided greetings from the graduating class.
